Structure:

Structure: Subject + should have + Principal verb ( past participle - 3^rd form ) + extension.

Person settings: I / He / She / It / We / They / You => should have

Example:

1. তোমার কাজটি করা উচিত  ছিল =  You should have done the work.
2. তোমার আমার কথা রাখা উচিত ছিল =  You should have kept my word.
3. আমার তখন ঘুমানো উচিত ছিল = I should have slept then.
4. তোমার দেশের জন্য কিছুু করা উচিত ছিল = You should have done something for the country.
5. আমাদের যৌতুকের বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়ানো উচিত ছিল = We should have stood against(কোন কিছুর বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়ানো) the dowry(যৌতুক).
6. জামালের গত বছর পৌরসভা নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহণ করা উচিত ছিল  = Jamal should have took part in municipal election(পৌরসভা নির্বাচন)  in last year.
7. তোমার ইংরেজিতে কথা বলতে শেখা উচিত ছিল =  You should have learnt to speak in english.
8. তাদের বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেট খেলা উপভোগ করা ্উচিত ছিল = They should have enjoyed the Bangladesh cricket match.
